For the living room, this choice feels like it belongs there now, which is what I wanted.

This table lamp drew my eye more than expected at first, but simplifying the guest room around it solved that for me.

In the desk area, the overall design feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, and that matters more to me than any single detail. The look is slightly bolder than I pictured, but it worked once the rest of the room settled around it. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way. I notice the leather more in person than I expected, and it gives the design some depth without taking over. I appreciate it more now than I did on the first day.
