In the corner, this light turned out to be exactly enough of an update, without asking for much else. It draws the eye a bit more than I anticipated, but I have come to like that about it.

In the room, the light gives the space a stronger point of view, without asking for much else. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical. It added presence to the room without making the space feel busy. My partner and I have different taste, and this somehow works for both of us.

For the room, the light changed the room more than I expected, which suits our home. The room feels more finished now, but not in an overdone way. From the doorway, the room reads as a much more complete space now. It feels natural in the room now rather than like something we just added.
