With the desk area otherwise left alone, the table lamp gives the space a stronger point of view, which is what I wanted.

In the desk area, the new addition makes the space feel more settled, which is what I wanted. The scale of the design made me hesitate online, but it feels much more natural in person.

With the bedside otherwise left alone, the overall design feels like it belongs there now, without asking for much else. I would make the same choice again for this room.
