Carved from richly veined marble, the Marrow Vase explores weight, balance, and negative space through a compact, architectural form. Its rounded body and subtly flared opening recall ancient stone vessels, while the deep burgundy tone and natural white veining give each piece a quiet sense of movement.

Designed to stand alone or hold minimal stems, Marrow functions as both container and object. No two pieces are identical—each vein, fissure, and tonal shift is a natural record of the stone itself.

For the room, the vase feels like it belongs there now, especially in the evening. I have not felt the urge to keep adjusting the rest of the room around it. The longer it is here, the more natural it feels.

The whole shelf feels more settled with this in place. That balance was exactly what I was hoping for. I like that the room still feels like us, only more complete. It has been one of the easier design decisions to live with.

In the living room, the vase changed the room more than I expected, even on completely ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this room. It feels intentional without needing a lot of explanation.

The shelf feels more finished now, but not in an overdone way. It feels like part of the room rather than an add-on. I appreciate it more now than I did on the first day. This ended up feeling quieter in the space than I expected, which I actually prefer.
