In the hallway, the overall design turned out to be exactly enough of an update, which suits our home. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way.

For a simple update, the wall light adds interest without making the room feel busy, and I like that balance. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. I notice the difference most when the rest of the room is quiet and the light is on.
