Anthony George With the main room otherwise left alone, the chandelier turned out to be exactly enough of an update, and I like that balance. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. The effect is more about the whole space than the chandelier by itself. It has been one of the easier design decisions to live with. The chandelier gave the space a sense of occasion without making everyday dinners feel formal.
