With our existing pieces around it, this choice brings the room together without doing too much, without asking for much else. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical. I notice the difference most when the rest of the room is quiet and the light is on. I wanted the entryway to feel intentional but still relaxed, and this helped a lot.

With no need to redesign the room, the overall design turned out to be exactly enough of an update, even on completely ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this room. It gives the room a nicer evening rhythm without drawing too much attention to itself. Nothing else in the living room had to change for this to make a real difference.

In a room that needed one last thing, the overall design brings the room together without doing too much, without asking for much else. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way.
