In the guest room, the new addition has been easy to live with, which is what I wanted. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical.

With the guest room otherwise left alone, the overall design gives the room a clearer sense of balance, without asking for much else.

For the desk area, this table lamp works with what we already owned surprisingly well, which suits our home. It does not ask for attention every second, which I like. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought.
