Friends have commented on the room more since this went in, even when they do not mention the vase itself. I like it a lot; I just had to edit the surrounding decor so the space did not feel too busy.

The vase adds a focal point, but the room still feels relaxed around it. I spent a little longer than expected figuring out how to style the area around it, but the result feels right.

This vase gave the shelf enough interest without making it look overly decorated. Nothing else in the entry table had to change for this to make a real difference. The room has more depth now, but it is still comfortable. That balance was exactly what I was hoping for.
