A plug-in alabaster wall sconce in solid brass — no hardwiring, junction box, or electrician needed. The hand-carved alabaster shade (∅ 3.9″) softens an E14 bulb into a warm glow, and a 5.9′ (180 cm) braided cloth cord with an inline on/off switch — positioned 90 cm (35.4″) from the plug — connects to any standard wall outlet. It mounts with two screws, so rental walls and finished drywall are no problem. Sized for bedside tables, reading nooks, hallways, and vanity mirrors.

Mount within reach of the 180 cm (5.9′) cord; route it down to the outlet or hide it with a paintable cord cover. The inline switch sits 90 cm (35.4″) from the plug — add a smart plug for app or voice control.
E14 bulb not included — a 2700K warm-white LED (~12W) keeps the alabaster's natural tone.

Against the pieces we already had in the room, the new addition brings the room together without doing too much. The alabaster adds character, though I still think the overall effect in the room is the strongest part.

In the entryway, the wall light adds enough character without feeling loud, even on completely ordinary days. It has enough character to be noticed, but it still works with everything else. The room feels calmer and more intentional now. I notice the difference most when the rest of the room is quiet and the light is on.
