As part of the whole entryway, this chandelier brings the room together without doing too much, which is what I wanted.

With the dining room otherwise left alone, the new addition looks considered without feeling staged, without asking for much else. The lighting feels more deliberate now, but still comfortable for everyday use. The room feels calmer and more intentional now. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it.

For the space, the new addition has settled into the space very quickly, even on completely ordinary days. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way.
