In everyday use, this ceiling light makes the whole setup feel more complete, and I like that balance. It draws the eye a bit more than I anticipated, but I have come to like that about it. It does not ask for attention every second, which I like. The living room used to feel a little flat; this gave it just enough character. The travertine adds character, though I still think the overall effect in the room is the strongest part.

In the actual entryway, the ceiling light feels much more natural than I expected, and I like that balance. The look is slightly bolder than I pictured, but it worked once the rest of the room settled around it.

For the overall feel of the bedroom, the overall design has been easy to live with, without asking for much else. It has a distinct look, but the bedroom still feels relaxed around it.
