With the corner otherwise left alone, the table lamp makes the space feel more settled. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it. The longer it is here, the more natural it feels. It gives the room a nicer evening rhythm without drawing too much attention to itself.

In the corner, the overall design feels much more natural than I expected. It feels intentional without needing a lot of explanation. I expected this to be more of a statement piece, but it actually settles into the room very easily. The corner used to feel a little flat; this gave it just enough character.
