Without making other changes to the living room, this ceiling light looks considered without feeling staged, even on completely ordinary days.

With no major changes around it, the new addition fits in better than it did in my head, and that matters more to me than any single detail. The room has a better sense of warmth at night now, without feeling heavy. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it. The room feels much more inviting once the light is on.
