At 60 cm / 24 inches across the base and 200 cm / 79 inches tall — about 6.5 feet — the Nocturne Bloom is a figurative floor lamp cast from fiberglass with a matte black finish. A slim humanoid figure stands on a round black base, embraced by a cluster of dark spheres that wraps around the torso like a cocoon, with several white glowing orbs nestled among the dark ones. In the corner, this floor lamp works with what we already owned surprisingly well, without asking for much else. I like the final look a lot; I just had to simplify the nearby decor more than planned. I like that the room still feels like us, only more complete.

For the bedroom, this floor lamp has settled into the space very quickly, without asking for much else. I like the way the space feels at night now, especially on quiet evenings at home. The light has become one of the things that makes the room feel settled at the end of the day. This changed the atmosphere more than the layout, which is exactly what I wanted.

In the sofa area, the overall design has been easy to live with, even on completely ordinary days. It gives the space a little more identity without changing everything else. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way. A lot of decor looks good for a week; this has been easy to live with day after day.

In the reading corner, the overall design makes the whole setup feel more complete, even on completely ordinary days. I would make the same choice again for this room. The room has more depth now, but it is still comfortable.
