In the sofa area, the floor lamp makes the room feel more intentional, even on completely ordinary days. I changed almost nothing around it, yet the sofa area looks noticeably more resolved. I have not felt the urge to keep adjusting the rest of the room around it.

With the reading corner otherwise left alone, the overall design fits in better than it did in my head, and I like that balance. It gives the room a nicer evening rhythm without drawing too much attention to itself. It does not ask for attention every second, which I like.

With the sofa area otherwise left alone, the floor lamp changed the room more than I expected, especially in the evening. It feels like part of the room rather than an add-on. The corner finally feels intentional instead of like leftover space.

For the sofa area, the new addition feels like it belongs there now, which suits our home. I notice it most on ordinary evenings, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.
