Friends have commented on the room more since this went in, even when they do not mention the outdoor light itself. The longer it is here, the more natural it feels. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought.

The front entry needed something, and this turned out to be exactly enough. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it. It has held my attention without getting tiring. I notice the difference most when we come home at night; the entry feels more considered.

The front entry used to feel a little flat; this gave it just enough character. It gives the space a little more identity without changing everything else.

Nighttime is when I appreciate this outdoor light most; the space feels calmer and more settled. The remote is a small thing, but I use it often enough that I am glad it was included. I notice the difference most when the rest of the room is quiet and the light is on. The space still feels relaxed, just more considered.
