From where we usually sit in the entryway, the ceiling light has been easy to live with, especially in the evening. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought. The entryway feels more finished now, but not in an overdone way. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way.
