For the desk area, this choice looks considered without feeling staged, especially in the evening. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. The effect is more about the whole space than the table lamp by itself.

For the corner, the table lamp changed the room more than I expected, and I like that balance.

In the bedside, the new addition looks considered without feeling staged, and that matters more to me than any single detail. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it.
