For this corner of the house, the chandelier changed the room more than I expected, and that matters more to me than any single detail. I would make the same choice again for this room. The living room has more identity now, while still feeling like our home.

The entryway needed a little rearranging visually after this chandelier went in, but nothing major and the room feels better now.

For the look we were after, the new addition turned out to be exactly enough of an update, which is what I wanted. It makes the room feel finished without making it feel staged. It has been one of the easier design decisions to live with.
