With the corner otherwise left alone, this choice looks considered without feeling staged, especially in the evening.

In the corner, the overall design brings the room together without doing too much. I like that the room still feels like us, only more complete. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical. Most days I barely think about it, but the space feels better because it is there.
