In the finished entryway, the overall design works with what we already owned surprisingly well, especially in the evening.

In the room, the overall design changed the room more than I expected, even on completely ordinary days. The light has become one of the things that makes the room feel settled at the end of the day. It has held my attention without getting tiring. It has enough character to be noticed, but it still works with everything else. The lighting feels more deliberate now, but still comfortable for everyday use.

For the way we use the entryway, the new addition looks considered without feeling staged, which suits our home. It draws the eye a bit more than I anticipated, but I have come to like that about it. It makes the room feel finished without making it feel staged. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought.
