From the doorway into the entryway, this choice turned out to be exactly enough of an update, and I like that balance. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. I did not expect one wall light to change the entryway this much.

In the actual entryway, the wall light works with what we already owned surprisingly well, which is what I wanted. The entryway feels more inviting in the evening without becoming overly dramatic.

For the mood we wanted in the entryway, the overall design looks considered without feeling staged, which suits our home. I wanted the entryway to feel intentional but still relaxed, and this helped a lot.
