In the bedroom, the ceiling light works with what we already owned surprisingly well, and that matters more to me than any single detail. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. The travertine is one of those details I appreciate when I am close to it, not something that dominates the room. This was the piece that made the bedroom stop feeling unfinished.

In a space that gets used a lot, the overall design fits in better than it did in my head, without asking for much else. My partner was less convinced than I was, but now this is one of the things they like most in the room. Even simple weeknights feel a little nicer in the living room now. It feels intentional without needing a lot of explanation.
