Sculptural metalwork meets natural stone — a compact pendant with a softly luminous alabaster globe.

The Orvelle Alabaster Beaded Pendant Light pairs a rounded natural Spanish alabaster shade with a vertically stacked arrangement of sculptural metal beads and tapered disc details. A twisted brown fabric cord adds warmth and vintage character, while the compact proportions make the pendant easy to place above a bedside table, kitchen counter, breakfast nook, reading corner, or small entryway. When illuminated, the alabaster globe reveals soft cloud-like veining and a warm diffused glow.

Please Note: Natural Spanish alabaster varies from piece to piece. Differences in clouding, pale honey-colored veining, mineral markings, translucency, and surface tone are inherent characteristics of natural stone and make every shade unique.

Installation & Care

Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
Confirm the ceiling junction box and supporting structure can safely hold the natural stone pendant.
Adjust the twisted fabric cord before completing the final ceiling installation.
Above a kitchen counter or dining surface, the bottom of the pendant can generally begin around 30–36 inches above the surface.
In open walking areas, maintain at least 84 inches of clearance between the floor and the bottom of the fixture.
Support the metal fitting and stone shade securely during installation. Do not lift the fixture by the electrical cord.
Use one appropriately rated G9 LED bulb. A warm-white 2700K–3000K bulb is recommended.
Natural alabaster is a real stone material and should be handled carefully to prevent chips, scratches, or impact damage.
Clean the alabaster shade with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by drying.
Do not use acidic cleaners, abrasive pads, metal polish, bleach, or strong household chemicals on the stone.
Clean the metal components with a soft dry cloth and avoid excessive rubbing on the finished surfaces.

Without making other changes to the dining area, this pendant makes the room feel more intentional, and I like that balance.

Compared with what was there before in the dining area, the overall design has been easy to live with, and that matters more to me than any single detail.

For the kitchen, this pendant makes the space feel more settled. It has a little more visual presence than I expected, so I simplified the area around it, but I like the result.
