With the dining area otherwise left alone, this pendant fits in better than it did in my head, without asking for much else. I would still choose it again, though it asks for a little more visual breathing room than I expected. That balance was exactly what I was hoping for. I appreciate it more now than I did on the first day. The pleated detail is distinctive, but the overall piece still feels easy to live with.

From where we usually sit in the hallway, the new addition adds enough character without feeling loud, and that matters more to me than any single detail.
