Passera Chandelier

Hand-sculpted in white plaster-finish gypsum resin, the Passera reads as a small tree set into a chandelier — a slim central trunk, reaching branches, four sculpted birds perched along the limbs, and six tulip-shaped flower lamps blooming at the ends of the lower branches. The all-white finish lets the silhouette read clearly against any wall color or ceiling. At ∅ 35.4″ across, the Passera suits dining rooms, foyers, and bedrooms in French country, coastal, or soft-modern interiors.

Hardwired — licensed electrician required

Connects to a standard ceiling junction box. Standard chain is 11.8″ and can be extended on request to suit your ceiling height.

Plaster surface — dry dust only

The gypsum-resin finish is matte plaster. Clean with a soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth. Avoid water, damp cloths, or chemical cleaners — moisture and solvents will mark the surface and are difficult to reverse.

In the finished main room, the overall design works with what we already owned surprisingly well, even on completely ordinary days. It has been one of the easier design decisions to live with. It passed the hardest test in our house: everyone likes it for a different reason. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical. It feels like part of the room rather than an add-on.

For a simple update, this chandelier has settled into the space very quickly, without asking for much else. That balance was exactly what I was hoping for. I like that the chandelier feels important in the room without making everything else feel secondary. The entryway feels easier to settle into once the day winds down.

With our existing pieces around it, the overall design turned out to be exactly enough of an update, and that matters more to me than any single detail. The room feels much more inviting once the light is on. I use the dimming more than I expected, especially when I want the room to feel quieter at night.
