The Pellisane Alabaster Shade Chandelier hangs five candlestick arms from a central hub, each topped with a tapered shade of natural alabaster. A slim downrod and short chain link it to a stepped round canopy, and the stone shades soften five bulbs into a warm, even glow with pale amber veining. It comes in brushed nickel, brass, or black, and measures 25.2″ across and 22.8″ tall.

Alabaster is a natural stone. Each shade has its own veining and tone, so the five shades on one chandelier will not look exactly alike. These variations are not defects.

Setup & Care

Turn off power at the breaker before installing. A licensed electrician is recommended.
Set the hanging height by adjusting the chain at installation, then fix the canopy to the ceiling junction box.
Dust the shades with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning sprays on the stone.
Let the bulbs cool before handling the shades or changing a bulb.

This chandelier asks for a little more breathing room in the entryway than I expected, but the final balance works.

With the main room otherwise left alone, the new addition fits in better than it did in my head, especially in the evening. I have not felt the urge to keep adjusting the rest of the room around it.

With the space otherwise left alone, this choice adds enough character without feeling loud, without asking for much else. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way. I like the alabaster, but I am even happier with how naturally the piece sits in the space.
