The Pestle Alabaster Flush Mount drops a single sphere of natural alabaster from a slim round ceiling canopy on a short, solid metal column. The result is a simple, sculptural pendant-style silhouette that sits close to the ceiling. It comes in three metal finishes: Brass, Nickel, and Matte Black.

Installation & Care

Mount to a secure ceiling junction box using the round canopy; installation should follow local electrical requirements and typically needs a licensed electrician.
Fit one G9 bulb inside the sphere.
Dust the alabaster sphere gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the stone.
Wipe the metal canopy and column with a soft, dry cloth; disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
Intended for indoor, dry use.

For the amount of change we wanted, the ceiling light feels calm enough for everyday life, even on completely ordinary days. It feels intentional without needing a lot of explanation. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought. I wanted the hallway to feel intentional but still relaxed, and this helped a lot.

With the bigger pieces staying exactly where they were, the new addition makes the whole setup feel more complete, even on completely ordinary days. The alabaster is nice up close, but what matters more to me is how the whole piece works in the room.
