With the surrounding decor in the living room kept simple, the new addition turned out to be exactly enough of an update, without asking for much else. I notice the difference most when the rest of the room is quiet and the light is on. I would make the same choice again for this room.

In this part of the house, the chandelier has settled into the space very quickly, which is what I wanted. I thought this might be the kind of piece I would tire of, but it has been the opposite so far. I appreciate it more now than I did on the first day.

With the dining room otherwise left alone, the new addition adds enough character without feeling loud, even on completely ordinary days. I find myself turning it on earlier in the evening because I like the room better that way. The room feels calmer and more intentional now.
