For the bedroom, this floor lamp feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, and that matters more to me than any single detail. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought. I like the way the space feels at night now, especially on quiet evenings at home. I would make the same choice again for this room. Nothing else in the bedroom had to change for this to make a real difference.

The floor lamp is slightly more noticeable in the bedroom than I planned, although I have come to like that about it.

It gave the sofa area a clearer focal point without making everything else compete. I expected this to be more of a statement piece, but it actually settles into the room very easily.
