For our normal weeknight routine, the overall design makes the room feel more intentional, and I like that balance. The light has become one of the things that makes the room feel settled at the end of the day. It gives the room enough presence without making the lighting feel theatrical.

For the room, the new addition makes the space feel more settled, without asking for much else.

For the bedroom, the overall design feels distinctive without being difficult to work around, even on completely ordinary days. The room has more depth now, but it is still comfortable. I notice it most on ordinary evenings, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. It changed the mood of the room without forcing me to change the furniture around it.
