The bedside feels easier to settle into once the day winds down. The light has become one of the things that makes the room feel settled at the end of the day.

With everything around it staying relaxed, this choice makes the room feel more intentional, without asking for much else.

In the corner, the overall design makes the whole setup feel more complete, without asking for much else. It has a little more visual presence than I expected, so I simplified the area around it, but I like the result. We brought this in not long after moving, and it helped the room lose that temporary feeling.
