In the finished hallway, the pendant feels like it belongs there now, and I like that balance.

With the breakfast area otherwise left alone, this pendant has settled into the space very quickly, which suits our home. The fixture feels like part of the architecture now rather than an afterthought.

The difference is subtle, but the kitchen feels much more considered now. I would make the same choice again for this room.

For our everyday routine in the kitchen, the pendant adds enough character without feeling loud, without asking for much else. The look is slightly bolder than I pictured, but it worked once the rest of the room settled around it.
