Mulberry paper, warm glow — light like sunlight through shoji.

Each washi pendant is handcrafted from translucent washi paper made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree — the same material used in traditional Japanese shoji screens. The paper filters and softens light into the warm, even glow of afternoon sun through a paper door, creating a serene, timeless presence in any interior.

This pendant undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result, minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade may be visible. This is a characteristic of the handcraft process and does not constitute a defect or quality issue.

The pendant was not quite as subtle in the room as I imagined, yet it works well now that the rest of the room is quieter.

We installed this without the help of an electrician. 12 shells arrived with a chip/broken, and we plan to contact the manufacturer for replacements. They should include more replacement shells in the shipment, because not all of the replacement have two holes to loop two clasps. It was worth the two to three hours it took to install & string the shells, as this is a great addition to our beach home.

I wanted to glam my closet and i love love this Chandelier, there was a light fixture already in the closet, I removed the globe cover put my chandelier over it screw the light bulb in and glamour beyond compare! I love going in my closet, it was exactly what I was looking for!!

Absolutely beautiful, however it took some time to put together. Many intricate details. But it is a chandelier and that is expected to some extent. Love it!
