I was worried this chandelier might compete with the rest of the room, but it actually gives everything around it a clearer place, which is what made the choice feel right in the end. It changed the nighttime feel of the room more than I expected from a single fixture. I did not expect one piece to change the stair landing this much, but the whole area feels more balanced now. This chandelier feels less like decor now and more like something that simply belongs in the room. I am happy with where the room landed.
