I was worried this wall light might compete with the rest of the room, but it actually gives everything around it a clearer place, and I like that it works without needing a lot of explanation.

The best part is how normal it feels in the room now, in a good way, and it makes sense in the reading corner without taking over. It looked interesting online, but the room is where the design really makes sense. The space feels less generic with this wall light, but it still looks like our home. It has been easy to live with, which is exactly what I wanted.

I notice this wall light most during our normal routine, which is probably why it already feels like part of the room, and that feels especially right in the reading corner. I like that the room still looks like itself at night, just more complete.
