Walking into the hallway, I notice the room as a whole before I notice the wall light, which is exactly what I wanted. It has held my attention without feeling like something I will get tired of quickly. The lighting changes the mood of the reading corner without making the room feel staged.

The product photos caught my attention, but living with it is what convinced me, which makes the room feel more like ours, and that has held up beyond the first few days.

Nothing else changed much, but this wall light gave the powder room a clearer sense of direction. Living with it has been easy; it adds something to the room without asking for attention every time I walk in.
