I noticed the travertine more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most, which is probably why it settled into the room so quickly. The design has enough presence to be noticed without becoming the only thing you see.

It's quite atmospheric, the lamp bodies are all brass-colored, the installation effect is very beautiful, and the actual object has a good texture.

Like others have said love this art form light. Came quickly with no damage. Instructions are not that helpful, having a handy friend would make install easier. Its a little tricky putting it on the ceiling but most chandelier are. Mines hanging 15 from ceiling just enough for diners to access the table without hitting there heads. Also installing a dimmer which will make it look even sexier.
