A rich walnut wood backplate anchors the design, while the adjustable head — composed of porous black travertine — cradles an opal glass diffuser that directs a warm, focused glow. About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish

The adjustable head of this sconce is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black — this is exactly as it was designed to be.

Natural travertine — formed by geological processes

Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.

If your lighting arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. If the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will work with you to resolve it and provide a prepaid return label when a return is required.

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
