The Sorrel Alabaster Disc Chandelier layers dozens of round, softly veined alabaster-style discs like scales around a two-tier metal ring frame, each disc fixed in place with its own small screw detail. From the main seating area, it turned out to be a more useful design choice than I expected because the whole room feels better around it. I needed a day or two to get used to it in the room, but it has grown on me. I am happy with where the room landed.

I like the room more now, mostly because this chandelier gives everything else a clearer backdrop; I like where the room landed.

After the rest of the room came together, this chandelier ended up being the part that tied it together; that balance works for me. I like the disc form; it reads as intentional without feeling overly decorative. It changed the nighttime feel of the room more than I expected from a single fixture. The best part is how normal it feels in the room now, in a good way.

I expected to like it, but I did not expect it to change the living room this much, which has made the room easier to enjoy day to day. I was unsure whether it would feel too noticeable, but the balance is better in person than I expected.
