Once this floor lamp was in place, the room stopped feeling like it still needed one more thing, which has made the room easier to enjoy day to day.

Up close, the fabric gives the design some depth, while the overall look still stays easy to live with, which gives the room enough change without overdoing it. It looked interesting online, but the room is where the design really makes sense. I chose it hoping for a quieter upgrade, and that is pretty much what it gave us. I like it more now than I did on the first day.

My main concern was whether it would still feel right after the newness wore off, and so far it does, which works well for the way we use the home office. I keep appreciating it in small moments rather than only when I am deliberately looking at it. This ended up being the piece that made the room make sense visually. I would choose it again for the same room.
