The proportions feel visually balanced with the rest of the room, which was one of my biggest concerns, and it still feels natural after the first impression wore off. I like that the room still looks like itself at night, just more complete. This wall light feels less like decor now and more like something that simply belongs in the room.

It works well with how we actually live in the space instead of making the room feel too precious, which has made the reading corner feel more complete.

I expected a visual upgrade; I did not expect the whole room to feel calmer, and it makes sense in the hallway without taking over. I like that the room still looks like itself at night, just more complete. This ended up being the piece that made the room make sense visually.
