Travertine naturally contains small pores, fissures, and tonal variations formed during its geological development. These are authentic characteristics of genuine stone, not manufacturing defects. The pore distribution visible in the image below is representative of what you may see on your piece.

I thought this pendant might feel too specific, but it is easier to live with than I expected; nothing else needed to change. I noticed the travertine more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most. I am happy with where the room landed.

The look is slightly bolder than I pictured, though it has settled into the dining area well. I keep appreciating it in small moments rather than only when I am deliberately looking at it. This pendant gives the space some character without turning it into a theme. The look is a touch bolder than I expected, though it works much better now that the rest of the dining area is settled. I have no urge to replace it with something else, which says a lot.
