About the travertine — genuine natural stone in two finishes

The stone column of this pendant is made from genuine travertine. The Natural Beige variant presents the stone in its authentic warm off-white colour — no coating applied. The Black Travertine variant has a matte black surface coating applied to the genuine stone to achieve the deep, uniform dark aesthetic. In both cases, the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are fully preserved.

The proportions feel visually balanced with the rest of the room, which was one of my biggest concerns, and that has made a bigger difference than I expected. I like how this pendant gives the room a clear point of interest without making everything else compete. Evenings in the room feel more finished now, which was exactly the change I wanted.

One of the things I like most is how this pendant looks from several parts of the room; the result feels natural. I notice this pendant most during regular evenings at home, which is probably why it already feels like part of the room. The room still feels personal rather than overly coordinated, and this pendant fits into that nicely.

The best part is how normal it feels in the room now, in a good way, which helped the room feel finished without adding more clutter. It was not an instant yes for me, but after living with it for a bit I appreciate it more.
