I keep appreciating it in small moments rather than only when I am deliberately looking at it, without forcing us to change everything around it. It works with the furniture we already had, which saved me from feeling like I needed to restyle the stair landing.

The space feels less generic with this chandelier, but it still looks like our home, and it feels more settled every time I see it. When the rest of the room is dim, the living room feels noticeably more welcoming with this chandelier on. The look is a touch bolder than I expected, though it works much better now that the rest of the living room is settled. I am glad I did not play it safer.

I needed a day or two to get used to it in the room, but it has grown on me, which has made the breakfast area feel more complete.

For our home, the best part is that this chandelier feels distinctive without feeling difficult; the result feels natural. Up close, the fabric gives the design some depth, while the overall look still stays easy to live with.
