I like how this wall light gives the room a clear point of interest without making everything else compete, and that is exactly what the living room needed. My parents visited after we finished the room and immediately commented on how pulled together the space felt. I like the way the living room feels after sunset now; it is softer and easier to settle into.

The space feels less generic with this wall light, but it still looks like our home, and that has made a bigger difference than I expected. It pulled the reading corner together in a way that feels natural rather than styled for a photo. In the evening, the reading corner feels noticeably more settled with this wall light on. The proportions feel visually balanced with the rest of the room, which was one of my biggest concerns. It still makes me happy when I walk into the room.

Up close, the wood gives the design some depth, while the overall look still stays easy to live with, which is exactly the kind of upgrade I wanted. The room still feels personal rather than overly coordinated, and this wall light fits into that nicely. I am still pleased with the choice.
