The round form is distinctive enough to notice, but it still works with the rest of the room, and it still feels natural after the first impression wore off.

Once this ceiling light was in place, the room stopped feeling like it still needed one more thing, which makes the room feel more like ours.

I did not have to change the surrounding decor for this to feel at home, which works well for the way we use the guest room. It settled into our normal routine faster than I expected and no longer feels like a new purchase. I did not expect one piece to change the guest room this much, but the whole area feels more balanced now. I am still pleased with the choice.

It was not an instant yes for me, but after living with it for a bit I appreciate it more, and I appreciate that it does not ask for constant attention.
