I do like the fabric detail up close, but what matters more is how naturally the whole table lamp works in the room, and that has made a bigger difference than I expected.

This is one of those pieces I appreciate more during ordinary days than I did when it first arrived, and that is exactly what the bedroom needed. The space feels less generic with this table lamp, but it still looks like our home.

This table lamp gives the space some character without turning it into a theme, and that mattered more to me than making a dramatic statement. I noticed the fabric more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most. It still makes me happy when I walk into the room.
