The room has more personality now, but it still feels comfortable and familiar; I like where the room landed. I was hoping for a more inviting mood at night, and this pendant helped without making the space feel overly decorated. I noticed the travertine more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most. This pendant gives the space some character without turning it into a theme. I like it more now than I did on the first day.

This pendant feels less like decor now and more like something that simply belongs in the room, which is why it does not feel like a short-term choice. The overall room looks more put together now, even though we barely changed anything else.

Up close, the wood gives the design some depth, while the overall look still stays easy to live with, and it has been easy to live with since then. It fits our routine well and makes the room feel a little more cared for.
